Australian Pacific touring SA Wine & Roses - 5 days
Discover Adelaide and the attractions of the Adelaide Hills before visiting the Fleurieu Peninsula then onto the world-renowned Barossa Valley for some samples of their wines and magnificent dinning.
Day 1 Thur. Adelaide Sights. Interstate passengers fly to Adelaide to arrive prior to 12.30 p.m. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Our tour of Adelaide will include seaside Glenelg, Botanic Gardens, tastings at the Adelaide Wine Centre and Adelaide’s Japanese sister city garden the serene Himeji Japanese Gardens. Four Night Stay: Mercure Grosvenor Hotel, located in the centre of Adelaide city.

Day 2 Fri. Richardson Garden, Fleurieu Peninsula, Ross Roses.
We visit the amazing Richardson Garden overlooking the Adelaide Hills. Then we continue to Willunga and century–old Ross Roses. Admire spectacular rose displays with more than 1200 varieties. We continue to the beautiful old whaling port of Victor Harbor.

Day 3 Sat. AL–RU Farm, Barossa Valley, Seppelts Winery, Chateau Barrosa.
Private garden visit to beautiful AL-RU Farm followed by a tour of the premier wine region of the Barossa Valley and a visit to Chateau Barrosa to see a beautiful Meissen china and antique collection. Stroll through the 12 hectare rose gardens featuring 25000 roses and opened by the Queen in 2002. Lunch today is a gourmet platter at popular Maggie Beers Pheasant Farm, followed by a guided tour of the historic Seppelts Winery with its avenue of magnificent date palms.

Day 4 Sun. Adelaide Hills, Hahndorf, Hans Heyen’s Studio, Carrick Hill.
Enjoy a walk through Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens. Time to stroll around the quaint German village of Hahndorf with its museums, galleries and antique shops as well as stores selling traditional German smallgoods. Visit Hans Heysen’s home and studio and see the magnificent gums he was so famous for painting. At Carrick Hill Manor House, wander amid the vast gardens and parkland and admire the highly personal art and antique collection spanning nearly 400 years.

Day 5 Mon. Explore Adelaide, Fly Home.
Today, enjoy free time to explore delightful Adelaide, the ‘city of churches’ before your transfer to the airport and flight home.
